Gene Feature Overview

Strain Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 (Stover et al., 2000)
GCF_000006765.1|latest
Locus Tag
PA3947
Name
rocR
Synonym: rocR
Replicon chromosome
Genomic location 4426952 - 4428130 (- strand)
Transposon Mutants 4 transposon mutants in PAO1
Transposon Mutants in orthologs 3 transposon mutants in orthologs
CommentGenetic and bacterial two hybrid studies in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAK have revealed that RocS1-induced expression of the cupB and cupC gene clusters is repressed by RocR. Furthermore, purified RocR has been shown to display phosphodiesterase activity and degrades the second messenger c-di-GMP.
CommentRocR has been shown to have c-di-GMP phosphodiesterase activity and to repress the expression of the cupB and cupC gene clusters.
CommentOverexpression of PA3947 impairs TTSS-mediated cytotoxicity
