Aug 25, 2011 | New product name: Two-component response regulator RocA1. New comment : RocA1 can interact with two sensors, RocS1 (PA3946) and RocS2 (PA3044) and activates transcription of the cupC gene cluster.. New comment : Functional studies in Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAK have shown that overexpression of RocA1 activates transcription of the cupC gene cluster, which leads to the production and assembly of CupC fimbriae on the cell surface and increases biofilm formation. Genetic and bacterial two hybrid analyses have shown that RocA1 can be activated by the RocS1 sensor, as well as the paralogous RocS2 sensor (PA3044).. New PubMed reference: 15659157.
